Balikohla-

Recently, Balikhla is one of the most popular places of interest. Water on both sides and a narrow road in the middle of the water. This road is about 3 kilometres long. This sandy road has taken place in the hearts of travellers. As the road is very high, if there is more water in the haor, the road will not sink. You can reserve CNG from Kishoreganj city at Ekrampur CNG stand and leave in 1 hour. can take a boat ride on the Haor in Balikhala.

Nikli Haor-

Nikli Haor is located in Nikli Upazila of Kishoreganj. it is located 25 km away from Kishoreganj. Numerous fish are found in this haor. Clearwater play, fishermen’s activity brings joy to the mind

Mithamain Haor-

Mithamain is an Upazila in Kishoreganj district. It is a haor area and an ancient town. it has a variety of traditional installations and haors. From Kishoreganj railway station or bus station by rickshaw/easy bike to Ekrampur Tapar people Loka CNG to Chamra Ghata. You can visit there by boat all day.

Qutub Shah Mosque, Austagram-

Qutub Mosque is located in the heart of Austagram Upazila of Kishoreganj district. The mosque has 5 domes. The cornice of the mosque is curved, there are various carvings on the walls of the mosque. It has a reputation as one of the oldest installations of the Sultanate period in the greater Mymensingh region. Austagram can be reached from Kuliachar launch ghat at a fare of 80 to 100tk per person.

Austagram Haor-

Austagram Haor is located in Austagram Upazila of Kishoreganj district. The distance from Kishoreganj Sadar to Austagram is about 60 km. The wind in this haor, the songs of the fishermen, the fishermen, bustle, people travelling in small boats, everything is like art. But not only in the rainy season but also when the water goes down, this haor wakes up in a different way.

Gangatia zamindar’s house, Hossainpur-

The zamindari system has been abolished long ago but the Gangatia zamindar house located in Gobindpur union in Hossainpur Upazila of Kishoreganj district is still standing as a witness of the times. In Gobindpur union of Hossainpur Upazila of Kishoreganj district. It is located at a distance of only 11 km from the district.

Norosunda Lake city-

Norosunda Lake City has been built around the river Norosunda flowing through the heart of Kishoreganj district town. You can go directly to Muktamancha from Kishoreganj by renting a rickshaw for 20 Tk.

Fort of Egarosindur-

Located 22 km away from Kishoreganj district, this fort is associated with the memory of Isha Khan. As 11 small and big canals or rivers flow past this village, this place later came to be known as Egarosindur.



Delhi akhra-

One of the historical attractions of Kishoreganj district is the four hundred and fifty-year-old Delhi Akhra. A beautiful haoranchal of this region is the akhra of Delhi in Katkhal union of Mithamin Upazila. You can come to Balikhola or Marichkhali Bazaar from Ekrampur junction of Kishoreganj city and go to Delhi akhra with trawler or boat.

Poet Chandrabati Mandir-

Poet Chandrabati is recognized as the first female poet in the Bengali language. this temple is octagonal in shape and its height is about 32 feet. There is a room on the ground floor of the temple. There are 7 lulungi inside the room. If you want to see the poet Chandrabati temple, you have to come to Kishoreganj district headquarters first.

Syed Nazrul Islam Bridge-

Syed Nazrul Islam Bridge is an aesthetic bridge built over the Meghna River for free communication between Bhairat and Ausuganj by road. You can take a rickshaw from Bhairab railway station to visit Nazrul Islam Bridge.

Pagla Masjid-

In the Harua area of Kishoreganj district town, on the banks of the river Norosunda, there is a historical Pagla Mosque which is about two and a half years old. You can visit the Pagla Mosque from Kishoreganj by paying 20tk.

Itna Haor-

Itna is one of the haor Upazilas of Kishoreganj district. it has Itna Shahi Mosque. you have to rent an easy bike for 5 takas or walk for 5 minutes to Ekrampur junction of the city.

Sholakia Eidgah Maidan-

Sholakia Eidgah Maidan is located on the banks of Norosunda river in Kishoreganj district town. With easy bike from Gaitel of Kishoreganj to Sholakia Eidgah ground.

Jangalbari fort-

Jangalbari fort is located in Kadirjangal union of Karimganj Upazila, 6 km away from Kishoreganj district. What you can see in Jangalbari fort – Darbar Hall, Isha Khan Mosque, Isha Khan Mosque etc.

Satyajit Ray’s ancestral home-

Oscar-winning filmmaker Satyajit Ray’s ancestral home is in the village of Mosua, just 6 km from Kotiadi Upazila in Kishoreganj district.
